Job description
Kita Fuchsia was opened in June 2017 and offers space for 50 children per day. As of 01.11.2026 (or by arrangement), we are looking for a motivated, independent and resilient person in the function of a cook who ensures the physical well-being of the children and the staff. You will organize your activities largely by yourself and work in a beautiful, bright, spacious workplace. The workload is 60% (25.5h per week), distributed over 5 days (Mon-Fri). The working hours are each from approx. 08.00/08.30 - 14.00/13.30. The position includes the following tasks:

daily preparation of meals for approx. 45 children and approx. 20 adults per day as well as warming up puree
Preparing Znüni & Zvieri
Doing the dishes after eating (dishwashers available) and cleaning the kitchen
Mainly responsible for cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
Checking food for expiration date
Purchasing food 2x per week
Preparation of baby food (puree) from fresh vegetables and fruits (approx. 2x/week)
Assistance with preparations for events and celebrations of the Kita (2x per year)
Requirements:

Awareness of healthy nutrition and a fresh kitchen (we do not use ready-made products)
Experience in the preparation of meals for large quantities
very independent and very reliable, proactive working
Good German skills
high resilience
joy in children
