Your tasks * Overall operational responsibility for the office; you lead the executive management, which includes the Technical Management and the Head of Central Services alongside you * Leadership, promotion, and further development of employees * Organizational quality assurance and controlling of service delivery (technical quality assurance lies with the Technical Management) * Responsibility for the planning, coordination, and further development of operational processes * Management of resources and finances: budget, annual accounts, and annual report for the board, financial controlling, and reporting * Preparation, representation, and implementation of the business of the Board and the Executive Committee (militia authorities) including participation in their meetings * Coordination of cooperation with schools, municipalities, and authorities in the district * Management of projects and active participation in them; preparation and planning of the move to Meilen / digitalization / implementation of organizational development Your profile * Sound education and further training at university or university of applied sciences level -- e.g., in public administration, business administration, law, psychology, or pedagogy -- with corresponding leadership and management experience * Leadership experience in an expert organization, ideally in the education, social, or health sector * Strong understanding of public institutions, school topics, and political decision-making processes, experience in cooperation with militia authorities * Familiar with municipal law, personnel law, and public finances * High conceptual and organizational skills as well as strong entrepreneurial thinking * Great interest in participating in day-to-day business * Experience in project management and corresponding organizational skills * Ability to bring together different interests and develop sustainable solutions * High focus on quality * Strong IT and digitalization competence * Confident appearance and convincing communication skills The offer * Responsible management function with opportunities for design * Versatile and demanding area of responsibility at the interface of school, psychology, administration, and politics * Cooperation with a dedicated and competent team and board * Working time model: annual working time with around 50 % presence during the school term; holidays and compensation during the school holidays * Attractive workplace (from summer 2027 centrally in Meilen) This recruitment process is accompanied by our external partner inoversum personalmanagement by Michel Maulaz.
