The Bade- und Eisanalgen department, with around 350 employees, is responsible for the operation of around 21 indoor and outdoor pools as well as two ice facilities.

To strengthen our existing teams, we are looking for an engaged and independent

Badeangestellte*r, 40-80%

for our Hallenbad Leimbach starting from 1. Januar 2027 or by arrangement.

Tasks

• Take responsibility for supervision, rescue operations, first aid services, as well as cashier activities
• Ensuring safety and order at the facility
• Looking after the bathers
• Carrying out general cleaning tasks
• Performing maintenance and repair work

Profile

• Schwimmbrevet IGBA PRO, Brevet Schweizer Bademeister*in or SLRG Brevet PRO Pool, including BLS-AED (certificates must not be older than 1 year)
• Enjoyment in dealing with guests and strong service orientation
• Very good oral German skills
• Independent, reliable and careful way of working
• Technical understanding and interest

About us

The Sportamt is a service department of the Schul- und Sportdepartement of the Stadt Zürich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides sports facilities as well as indoor and outdoor pools to the athletically active population and clubs. The organization of compulsory swimming lessons as well as voluntary school sports are also part of the core tasks of the Sportamt. With targeted information, the Sportamt motivates more movement and advises and supports sports organizations.
