The Association Régionale d’Action Sociale (ARAS) Jura–Nord vaudois brings together

The activities of our intercommunal Association and Réseaux d’accueil de jour des enfants (AJE) are experiencing continuous growth. In this context, we are looking for a:

Head of Collective Childcare for the Réseau AJERCO at 80%

General mission

Reporting to the AJE Management, you supervise the collective daycare structures (AJE) for the AJERCO network. These consist of eleven nurseries and nine after-school care units (UAPE). In this capacity, you are the guarantor of the quality and adequacy to the regulatory framework of the services offered within the network's childcare structures. You lead the structure managers reporting to you in the development and coordination of their activities. You support them with any organizational, pedagogical, or personnel management questions related to educational staff.

A person of initiative and proposals, you bring your expertise to the management by supporting its decision-making with substantiated elements. You ensure the application of decisions made, embody the institutional vision, and unite your team behind it. Furthermore, you monitor the evolution of legal regulations in the field of early childhood and ensure their proper implementation.

You promote and maintain good relations with all internal and external partners. Your activity also covers tasks such as the definition and improvement of processes, project management, and the facilitation of meetings. Finally, you are the guarantor of the quality of services offered within the AJERCO network as well as the promotion and maintenance of good relations with all internal and external partners.

Desired profile

You hold a higher university professional qualification in human sciences or ES/HES in the educational or social field, supplemented by training in management or willing to obtain it after starting the position.

You have proven experience in the field of childhood, as well as in team leadership and the management of a sector.

Your ability to identify the key issues of the field allows you to take relevant initiatives and implement appropriate actions.

Possessing strong analytical and synthesis skills, you know how to define priorities and demonstrate excellent organizational skills. You are also comfortable managing particularly complex and demanding situations.

Recognized for your interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, you particularly enjoy teamwork and integrate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.

You are proficient in MS Office Pro computer software. Knowledge of the professional software "CSE KIBE" is an asset.
