We are looking for a Portfolio Manager for the real estate of the University and PH Bern.

Your tasks

• Sustainably manage the assigned real estate portfolio, taking into account both the requirements of the users (University, PH) as well as the owner and client interests of the Canton of Bern. In doing so, the specific operational and infrastructural requirements of the veterinary hospital (e.g., complex procurement procedures, high technical requirements and cost control) must be appropriately taken into account.
• Development and ongoing optimization of the properties: prepare potential and feasibility studies, develop solution strategies and create economic efficiency calculations in SIA sub-phases 11 and 21
• Defining the strategic maintenance planning in close cooperation with the object managers
• Specification requirements for new buildings, repairs and maintenance measures for handover to the construction project management
• Leading the external and internal project teams and coordinating the different claims

Your profile

• University degree in Architecture / Economics / Construction / Real Estate Management, preferably with further training in business administration
• Professional experience in portfolio and project management as well as real estate development
• You enjoy taking on responsibility, act entrepreneurially, are resilient and innovative
• You communicate skillfully, are proficient in negotiations, work in a structured and organized manner
