Through their work in the five social centers, the Social Services ensure that people in the City of Zürich can rely on effective basic social services.

For our team in the Sozialzentrum Selnau, we are looking for motivated personalities as temporary staff for a fixed-term employment of 6-12 months, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• You conduct civil law mandates in child protection and accompany children, adolescents, and their families in demanding life situations.
• You will be administratively supported by clerks, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist departments, and work closely with your colleagues in the team.

Profile

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work
• Professional experience in managing civil law mandates, ideally in child protection
• Experience in dealing with complex family situations and various stakeholder groups
• Rapid comprehension of complex situations, high personal responsibility, and the ability to act professionally and solution-oriented even in challenging situations
• Good communication skills and negotiation skills
• Interest in additional professional or organizational responsibility is an advantage; possibility to take over the deputy leadership role
