Agrarian Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) 40-60 %

Job Description

To reinforce our familiar team at KWS Suisse SA, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented personality as an Agrarian Marketing Specialist (m/f/d).

In this versatile role, you will shape our marketing activities for customers, farmers, and retail partners in Switzerland and move within an exciting B2B and B2C environment. You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing measures, customer events, and variety demonstrations, and will contribute significantly to sales success through the building and maintenance of sustainable customer and partner relationships.

The position is permanent and includes a workload of 40-60 %. The future place of work is located in the region of Zürich or in the Zürcher Oberland. Currently, our office is still centrally located in Basel, only a few minutes' walk from the Basel SBB station.

Your tasks:

• Planning and implementation of marketing campaigns as well as management of social media activities
• Organization and execution of customer events (e.g., T&T, AGRAMA) and customer harvest events
• Planning and accompaniment of internal and external variety demonstrations
• Collaboration with customers, retail partners, and the field service
• Professional supervision of a marketing intern (female) or a marketing intern (male)
• Close coordination with internal interfaces, particularly the team in Einbeck

Your profile

• Completed studies with a focus on marketing or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in a comparable marketing or communication function is an advantage; experience in the agrarian environment, an agricultural science education, or an agricultural background is a plus
• High service and customer orientation as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Structured, independent, and careful way of working with a high sense of quality
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to set priorities and coordinate multiple tasks in parallel
• High degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, and a hands-on mentality
• Business fluent German and French skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % within Switzerland and abroad; driver's license category B is an advantage
• Flexibility and commitment during seasonal peak times, especially in the months of February and March
