Business analyst (80 %)

Zurich / Permanent employment / hybrid

The Database Management unit is the competence center of the Statistics division for tasks related to data and data processes. It designs, implements and optimizes survey documents and processes. To do this, we develop, automate and manage efficient processes from the reporting entities to our internal databases. You will join a dynamic team that interdisciplinarily combines these entities, IT and economic subjects.

Your mission ##

• Development and publication of survey documents in Excel and Web tools, including the organization, coordination and execution of the necessary processes
• Implementation of consistency and verification rules in systems and survey documents
• Advising internal departments on the implementation of survey documents, including consistency and verification rules and statistical surveys in general
• 2nd level assistance, in particular advice and support for reporting entities and software manufacturers in case of questions regarding survey documents
• Project work to design and implement IT tools intended for the conduct of the survey, in close collaboration with internal specialized departments

Your profile ##

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or a university of applied sciences
• Very high proficiency in IT
• Very good knowledge of Excel; ideally, basic knowledge in scripting and programming
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills (e.g. requirements analysis, solution development)
