The Wohngruppe Sternen in Meilen is part of the Institution Obstgarten and belongs to the Stiftung Zürcher Kinder- und Jugendheime. Our location is situated in a heritage-protected house in a prime location with a view of the lake. In our socio-pedagogical residential group, eight adolescents between the ages of 14 and 18 live. The goal of our work is to support the adolescents in their identity development and to impart age-appropriate skills for managing everyday life. The Wohngruppe Sternen is a fully supervised residential offering. Our seven-member socio-pedagogical team accompanies and promotes the adolescents 365 days a year - committed, professional, and with the necessary portion of serenity.

For the pedagogical team, we are looking for, as of immediately or by arrangement

a Social Pedagogue (female) or Social Pedagogue (male) (80 %) ##

Your tasks ###

• Socio-pedagogical accompaniment of all adolescents in everyday life including key worker work
• Networking work with all involved professionals and parents
• Accompaniment of household management and support with homework and administrative tasks
• Planning and implementation of leisure activities
• Accompaniment of the adolescents to external appointments
• File management (reports, team journal, protocols, etc.)
• Shaping and collaborating within the socio-pedagogical team

Your profile ###

• Education in socio-pedagogy/social work HF or FH
• Professional experience in socio-pedagogical residential youth work desired
• Understanding and humor for typical youth topics
• Enjoyment of networked or systemic work
• Readiness for irregular working hours (night and weekend shifts)
• Competent and trustworthy appearance as well as clear expression
