Who are we?

The Service de l'action sociale SASoc, the competent authority in the canton of Fribourg notably for the supervision, coordination and harmonization of the social assistance system (LASoc), is looking for a scientific associate in this sector at 60-70% for a start on 1 January 2027 or by agreement. The mission of the position concerns the implementation and supervision of the law on social assistance (LASoc). Only online applications via the Etat de Fribourg website will be considered.

Your missions

• Establish and support the supervisory tasks of the organization and functioning of the regional social services and social commissions responsible for the application of the law on social assistance (LASoc)
• Define the monitoring of the social assistance system, statistical indicators, control dashboards, report the results and analyze them
• Elaborate the quality criteria for services and verify their application
• Support the regional social services and social commissions for the adaptation of processes, the implementation of general measures relating to the information and training of professionals and for the organization of procedures
• Participate in the development of the social assistance system

Desired profile

• Master in social work or training deemed equivalent followed by several years of professional experience
• In-depth knowledge in terms of organization
• Excellent knowledge in terms of social security and the organization of the cantonal social system
• Taste for contact with administrations, ease in communication and interest in social issues
• Dynamic and versatile personality, working precisely and comfortably with numbers, sense of organization and coordination, good ability to integrate into a team
• Good mastery of standard IT tools
• Mastery of the French or German language with very good knowledge of the other language
