Le Service de la petite enfance (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the early childhood policy of the Ville de Genève by managing municipal childcare structures and supporting the childcare structures it subsidizes. In a context of growth in our activities, we are reinforcing the staff of the technical unit and are looking for an architect at 80 - 100% for a 12-month CDD

Your mission and responsibilities

You manage and ensure the realization of projects for the creation, extension, renovation, redevelopment, or routine maintenance of early childhood childcare structures subsidized by the Ville de Genève (SAPE), in buildings not belonging to the Ville de Genève, with or without mandates, and in collaboration with the management of the SAPE.

You are in charge of routine maintenance operations of SAPE in buildings belonging to the Ville de Genève, in collaboration with the management of the SAPE and under the aegis of the Direction du patrimoine bâti (DPBA).

You participate in the study and realization of projects for the creation of SAPE within the framework of partnerships with other organizations, in collaboration with their representatives as well as in buildings belonging to the Ville de Genève, under the aegis of the DPBA.

You also handle the acquisition of furniture - material necessary for the proper operation of the SAPE. The administrative follow-up of works and acquisitions (furniture, materials, supplies) necessary for all SAPE in the context of their preschool childcare activities is your responsibility.

Your profile

Hold an architect's degree, university, HES or a title deemed equivalent

Possess proven experience of at least 5 years in Switzerland as an architect

Excellent command of French both written and oral

Excellent command of common office tools

Be domiciled in the canton of Genève or in the authorized domicile zone
