Due to a departure, the Municipality of Saint-Imier is advertising a position as an

social worker and professional curator at 80% (M/F)

Main tasks:

• Accompany and develop solutions in delicate personal and family situations;
• Advise and accompany beneficiaries within the framework of social assistance;
• Provide material, administrative, and social assistance adapted to the situations encountered;
• Ensure the management of curatorship mandates for minors and adults;
• Conduct social investigations;
• Develop and maintain active collaboration with the various partners in the network;
• Ensure a role of advice and prevention.

Profile sought:

• Holder of a diploma from a specialized school in social work and experience within a social service is desired;
• Excellent sense of human relations and good negotiation skills;
• Endurance and ability to deal with complex situations;
• Great autonomy in the organization and monitoring of work;
• Excellent administrative and accounting skills;
• Good mastery of the social insurance field;
• Strong interest in network work;
• Perfect mastery of French, both spoken and written;
• Mastery of German or other languages, an asset;
• Knowledge of the Tutoris software, an asset;
• Category B driver's license.
