School Social Worker*

The municipality of Schafisheim near Lenzburg is nestled between two prominent hills, very well connected in terms of transport, and is the gateway to Seetal. The municipality's employees provide comprehensive services of high quality for the population.

Kreisschule Lotten comprises 13 classes of secondary and lower secondary school, which are taught at the three locations Rupperswil, Hunzenschwil and Schafisheim. Around 50 class and subject teachers as well as assistants or remedial teachers work closely with the SSA in well-organized teams. A workplace is available for this position at each location.

We are looking for an immediate

School Social Worker* with a workload of 60% for Kreisschule Lotten at the locations Hunzenschwil and Rupperswil ##

Your challenges ###

• Low-threshold counseling work for students, parents and teachers
• Implementation of projects in prevention work (early detection - prevention - intervention)
• Crisis intervention in classes and individual case counseling
• Cooperation and interface function with school, authorities, social services, institutions and specialist centers
• Active participation in creating an integrative, positive and non-violent school culture

Your profile ###

• Completed training in social work or social pedagogy (HFS, FH) as well as CAS «Social Work in Schools» or the willingness to complete this further training
• Joy and experience in dealing with children, adolescents and parents
• Experience in counseling work in various fields of work is an advantage
• High social competence, flexibility, commitment and resilience
• Systemic-solution-oriented and person-centered way of working
• High personal responsibility, ability to work in a team as well as good organizational skills
• Networked thinking and acting
• Willingness to be present in school buildings at various locations in Schafisheim, Hunzenschwil and Rupperswil
