Social pedagogical family support (m/f/d) sought - in Bern (Stadt) and Interlaken ##

Wegpiraten GmbH is looking forward to motivated, open-minded and committed social pedagogues (at tertiary level, university, university of applied sciences or higher specialized college) with at least three years of professional experience after graduation.

• three years of professional experience in working with children and family systems in the field of child protection (at least 50% workload).

Relevant activities may be in the following areas:

• child protection in a social service
• school social work
• child protection assessments at a KESB
• educational counseling center
• mother and father advisory service
• systemic and family therapy
• teaching activity in a school operation affiliated with an inpatient facility
• women's shelter
• victim support
• support and protection services according to KFSG

Who we are:

Wegpiraten GmbH is an innovative and appreciative team that supports families through outreach social pedagogical support. Our goal is to strengthen parents and children in difficult situations, activate resources and create stable, secure living environments. In doing so, we work systemically, interdisciplinarily and always at eye level.

Your tasks:

• Outreach support of families in their domestic environment, in their free time and in our rooms
• Parent coaching and individual support of the children
• Support with educational questions, stabilization of family relationships and everyday structuring
• Assessments within the framework of child protection
• Promotion of resources and potential within the families
• Documentation, reporting and case reflection
• Collaboration in the multiprofessional team
• Creative, experience-oriented approaches, e.g. sporting and leisure pedagogical activities such as hiking, canoeing, cycling, climbing or skiing

What we expect from you:

• Completed studies in pedagogy, social pedagogy, social work, childhood pedagogy or comparable
• At least three years of professional experience in the field of child protection
• Joy in independent work and teamwork
• Resilience, flexibility and humor
• Interest in adventure and experience pedagogy as well as diversity of methods in family work
• Confident handling of digital media and Office/IOS programs
• Reliability, punctuality, loyalty and commitment
• Passion for working with families and children
