Located in the Vevey region, between city and country, the Cité du Genévrier welcomes adults with disabilities due to intellectual impairment. A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers the people welcomed there a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual.
Integrated into the Fondation Eben-Hézer, the Cité du Genévrier is the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sœur Julie Hofmann. In this capacity, it considers the happiness of the people welcomed as the ultimate goal of its action.
Mission
For the people welcomed at the Cité du Genévrier, residing there means, among other things, being able to benefit from a whole range of activities, therapies, and leisure pursuits. We are particularly attentive to this. This is why, in order to complete our dynamic team of therapists, we are looking for a physiotherapist M/F between 20% and 40%.
You will collaborate with the team to offer physiotherapy support intended for a population with mental and/or physical disabilities. You will conduct physiotherapy sessions to treat functional limitations arising from injuries and illnesses affecting the muscles, joints, bones as well as the neurological, respiratory, circulatory, and cardiac systems. Furthermore, you will also have the possibility to develop sports activities adapted to the residents. Finally, you will have the opportunity to work interdisciplinarily with your fellow therapist colleagues from various professions, to share knowledge and group activities with the residents.
Desired Profile
With a HES physiotherapist diploma (foreign diplomas with Red Cross recognition or in the process of being obtained)
Having experience in the field of intellectual disability and multiple disabilities, an asset
With the ability to work in a team and in collaboration with different internal partners
Possessing interpersonal skills, an open mind, and a capacity for listening and initiative
Capable of combining the implementation of technical gestures with relational quality in exchanges
Working Environment
Within the framework of this indefinite term contract, you can benefit from an interesting and varied internal training program, as well as the social conditions and benefits of the CCT of the Vaudois semi-public social sector with 6 weeks of vacation, 7 weeks from the age of 50. You will furthermore have the possibility to participate in the development of the institution and to evolve in a working environment conducive to the fulfillment of the mission and to your professional development.
