Exciting tasks await:

• Counseling and support of men incarcerated in the penal institution within the framework of risk-oriented sanction enforcement as well as taking into account the operational and legal framework conditions (Case Management)
• Assumption of client-related tasks: admission interviews, development of the enforcement plan and review of goal achievement, clarification of cost carriers, conducting offense processing interviews, organization of leaves, support with administrative matters, discharge planning
• Interface to internal and external bodies
• Documentation of case management and diverse reporting

What you bring:

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work and several years of experience in Social Work, preferably with clients in a coercive context
• High resilience, ability to work in a team and goal-oriented way of working
• Conscious handling of proximity and distance
• Confident written and oral communication skills in German, good knowledge of at least one other language and good IT user skills (Microsoft Office)
• Impeccable reputation (criminal and debt enforcement register extracts without entries) as well as minimum age 30 years

Your working environment
In the Justizvollzugsanstalt Lenzburg (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dvi/strafverfolgung-strafvollzug/jva-lenzburg), persons are cared for who have been sentenced to a prison sentence or to a custodial measure. The offering includes 380 enforcement places for closed enforcement, pre-trial detention and short sentences.

In the penal institution, 199 prison places are available for men who are serving longer prison sentences, are pre-emptively incarcerated or are housed in the special enforcement department SITRAK I (high security).

Security, peace and order are ensured by the enforcement staff in the care and security service and specific specialist services, which also include the social service of the penal institution.
