YOUR TASKS

• Care of female and male patients during all operations with regional or general anesthesia
• Execution and monitoring of female and male patients in the operating room
• Management of emergency situations
• Independent and proper preparation, operation and maintenance of medical devices
• Co-responsibility for a smooth process in the operating program
• Cooperation with the anesthesiologists

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree as Dipl. Pflegefachperson, Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH or via a recognized foreign diploma
• At least 24 months of professional experience in a Swiss acute care hospital
• Taking on responsibility as well as being mentally and physically resilient

OUR OFFER In our modernly equipped surgical center, around 8'500 procedures are carried out annually in the specialist areas of orthopedics, general and spinal surgery, gynecology/obstetrics, visceral surgery and urology. The practical training takes place in all specialist areas, as well as in the endoscopy center. As part of external internships, you will gain insight into the areas of pediatric anesthesia, heart/thorax surgery and major visceral surgery. The modularly structured theoretical lessons are completed at the Berner Bildungszentrum für Pflege. During the two-year training, you will be competently supervised and accompanied by our vocational trainers and the nursing and medical team until graduation.
