Exciting tasks await:

• Processing the financial compensations of the canton to the municipalities in the area of social assistance as well as related professional advice to the municipalities
• Control of the cost-intensive social assistance cases in connection with the municipal financial equalization as well as corresponding advice to the municipalities
• Diverse administrative tasks, such as mail processing, management of general email inboxes, telephone service and minute taking
• Accompanying and supporting the KV apprentice in the 2nd year of apprenticeship

What you bring:

• A completed commercial or equivalent training as well as the willingness to attend a practical trainer course
• Several years of experience in the administration and accounting area
• Very good IT skills
• A quick grasp as well as an independent and reliable way of working
• Ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility

The population is at the center of the activities of the Department of Health and Social Affairs. We work sustainably and purposefully for the security of their living areas.
The Cantonal Social Service is responsible for public social assistance, asylum and refugee affairs as well as victim counseling and victim assistance. It is the appeals authority in the area of social assistance and supports the municipalities in the implementation of their family and age policies. In doing so, we work closely with other administrative offices, the municipalities, other cantons, the Confederation and third-party organizations.
