The municipality of Pieterlen, with its approximately 5-300 inhabitants, is located at the foot of the Jura between Biel and Grenchen. With our team, we accompany and care for around 140 students from kindergarten to 9th grade at our day school during five days per week.

We are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a

Caregiver with (social) pedagogical training 40-80% ##

TASKS ###

• Care of the children during school time in the morning, midday, and afternoon modules
• Cooperation in the team
• Implementation of our pedagogical concept
• Assumption of daily responsibility on a fixed weekday
• Planning and implementation of exciting leisure activities
• If interested, accompaniment of the learners

REQUIREMENTS ###

• Basic pedagogical training (FaBeK, teaching certificate, social pedagogy or equivalent training)
• Completed vocational trainer course or the willingness to complete it
• Professional experience in the care of school-aged children
• Joy in working with children and adolescents
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Integrity, teamwork skills, empathy, conflict management skills
