Emmestadt Burgdorf represents a significant educational center in the Canton of Bern. At the municipal Volksschule, around 1900 students are taught across five primary levels and two secondary levels, as well as at several kindergarten locations. Swimming lessons have been firmly established at Volksschule Burgdorf for many years and are offered in accordance with Lehrplan 21 and the principles of school swimming of the Volksschule Burgdorf for students from 1st to 9th grade. The aim is to convey joy of water and movement to the children, as well as to systematically build and develop basic swimming techniques and forms of movement. Teaching takes place via team teaching by a swimming teacher (technical responsibility) and the responsible teacher.

Tasks ###

• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of swimming lessons (45 minutes per class) taking into account different learning requirements and performance levels - cooperation with teachers and indoor pool staff

Requirements ###

The swimming lessons take place at the following times - Monday afternoon (2 lessons secondary school) - Tuesday morning (5 lessons primary school) - Wednesday morning (2 lessons secondary school) - Friday morning until 9. April 2027 (5 lessons secondary school) Important: The blocks can be divided among different persons if required. Your profile: - Recognized training as a swimming teacher or similar qualification (e.g., module Aquaprim or training PH/Uni movement and sport swimming - Valid brevet training (Plus Pool or SLRG-Brevet) as well as current BLS-AED certificate - Responsible, reliable, and independent way of working - Pedagogical skill and appreciative treatment of students
