Social Pedagogue or Specialist in Childcare, Kappeli Primar, 70%

The Kappeli Primar school is a QUIMS school (Quality in multicultural schools) in District 9, Zürich Altstetten. It places great importance on promoting a sense of community and views the cultural diversity of its students as an enrichment. The school is centrally located near Lindenplatz in the heart of Altstetten. Additionally, a children's playground offers a popular meeting point for children to play and linger both during school hours and outside of them. Currently, Kappeli Primar school consists of 11 kindergartens and 19 primary classes. We operate four kindergarten after-school care centers, three primary after-school care centers, and one morning table. To complement our team, we are looking for a committed Specialist in Childcare immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• Care and accompaniment of children of primary school age
• Design of stimulating, development-promoting leisure activities
• Collaboration with parents, teaching staff, and other specialists
• Taking over administrative tasks and other areas of responsibility
• Active co-design and further development of the pedagogical offering

Profile ##

• A completed training as a Specialist in Childcare (FaBe) or tertiary training in Social Pedagogy HF/FH or an equivalent recognized training
• Joy in working with children, empathy, and pedagogical skill
• Ability to work in a team, commitment, and sense of responsibility
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Openness to helping to shape and actively build new structures
