BFF Kompetenz Bildung Bern is the leading intercultural training center for the themes: bridging offers, nursing, health, hospitality-domestic economy, childhood pedagogy, social pedagogy, facility management and continuing education. 5800 people from more than 80 different nations work and study at the school.
At the vocational training department, young people and adults follow basic training of 2 and 3 years in the professional fields of nursing, health and hospitality-domestic economy. An annual general education course for adults is also offered. Learners benefit from practical and competency-oriented teaching with us. Approximately 100 teachers accompany a total of more than 2400 learners on their path towards a successful professional diploma. Become one of them!
Following a retirement, we are looking for the vocational training department for the 2nd semester of the 2026/2027 school year
1-2 teacher(s) in professional knowledge nursing - fixed-term contract

• Teaching: 21 lessons / 80.77 %, 2 first-year classes and 1 second-year class
• Role of lead teacher in 2 classes

for teaching to healthcare professionals EFZ, in the 3-year basic training for young people.
Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (starting Monday 1st February 2027)
Your tasks
You provide professional knowledge nursing in accordance with the FaGe curriculum and school plan. Your teaching is oriented towards action competence and takes situational didactics into account. You are part of a committed team and actively participate in professional and school development.
Your requirements
As a teacher trained in professional knowledge, you have experience in teaching or are willing to undergo training. You possess solid professional skills and experience in the health field (nursing, acute, Spitex, psychiatry, rehabilitation). You are distinguished by great personal initiative, can manage different learning conditions and enjoy working with learners. Internal differentiation, language-sensitive didactics, individual learning support and good mastery of blended learning are strengths of your teaching. You professionally manage adolescent behavioral disorders and generational conflicts. You are ready to collaborate proactively and interdisciplinarily within the professional group, the FaGe college and the entire department. A large part of your working time takes place on-site in exchange with your colleagues.
