General Accountant - ASAP - Try & Hire

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading group based in Genève, a Senior Accountant at 100%, as part of a temporary mission of at least 3 months, with the possibility of evolving into a permanent position.

Your main missions will be as follows:

• Autonomously ensure the general accounting for several companies within the group;
• Take charge of routine accounting operations and guarantee the reliability of entries - Perform bank reconciliations and the monitoring of various accounts;
• Manage intercompany entries and reconciliations;
• Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings;
• Prepare balance sheets and the elements necessary for the preparation of financial statements;
• Participate in adjustment and cleaning work of accounts;
• Provide operational support for accounting work related to company mergers;
• Work on the accounting of holdings and, depending on needs, real estate companies - Collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure the continuity of accounting operations.

Profile sought:

• You hold a Federal Diploma of Specialist in Finance and Accounting, a CFC as a commercial employee completed by accounting training, or an equivalent qualification;
• You have proven experience in general accounting and are able to take charge of several sets of accounts autonomously;
• You master closing processes and the preparation of balance sheets;
• You are comfortable with intercompany entries and multi-company environments - Ideally, you have worked in a fiduciary or in an environment requiring the simultaneous management of several mandates;
• You master an accounting ERP, ideally Abacus, or an equivalent software such as Sage;
• You have an operational understanding of English;
• You are recognized for your autonomy, your rigor, and your ability to be operational quickly;
• You know how to manage a large workload, prioritize, and evolve in a demanding environment;
• You are available immediately or in the very short term.
