Accompanying young people on their path to education and profession means more than teaching. It requires people who recognize potential, provide orientation, formulate clear expectations, and support young people in taking their next step independently.
For our bridge offerings pre-apprenticeship and integration classes, we are looking for a dedicated teacher with coaching tasks. A particular focus is on accompanying young people with different linguistic, academic, and cultural backgrounds.

Your tasks

• Teaching adolescents and young adults in the pre-apprenticeship and in the integration classes.
• Planning and designing practical, competency-oriented, and differentiated lessons.
• Accompanying learners in their personal, academic, linguistic, and professional development.
• Targetedly incorporating German as a second language and language promotion into the lessons.
• Supporting learners in the vocational choice process as well as in the search for internships and apprenticeships.
• Taking on classroom management and coaching tasks as well as conducting status, support, and development discussions.
• Collaborating with parents or caregivers, internship companies, vocational counseling, and other specialist agencies.
• Actively contributing to the further development of the bridge offerings and contemporary teaching methods.
• A pedagogical education or a teaching diploma or a comparable qualification, preferably at the secondary level.
• Experience in teaching adolescents and young adults.
• Joy in heterogeneous classes and different educational biographies.
• Interest or experience in the area of German as a second language, language promotion, or integration work.
• Interest in vocational training, vocational choice, and the working world.
• Strong skills in relationship management, classroom management, and coaching.
• An appreciative and at the same time clear interaction with adolescents.
• Independence, flexibility, and high team orientation.

Particularly welcome

• Experience in DaZ, integration classes, secondary level I, coaching, social pedagogy, or vocational choice support is an advantage.
• A versatile field of activity at the interface of teaching, coaching, language promotion, vocational choice, and integration.
