Your tasks

You love good journalism, think print and digital together and feel like not just working behind the scenes? Then HR Today could be exactly the right next step for you.

HR Today is one of the leading Swiss media brands for HR, the working world and Future of Work. We inform, inspire and network the Swiss HR community -- with our specialist magazine, our online platform, social media, podcasts, events and other formats.

For our editorial team, we are looking for a journalistically strong, curious and digitally savvy personality who is eager to take on responsibility and further develop HR Today together with us.

You are part of the HR Today editorial team and actively help shape our content and formats:

• You research and write your own journalistic contributions, interviews and specialist articles for print and online.
• You edit contributions from external authors and coordinate the specialist magazine HR Today, which is published six times a year, together with the editorial team.
• You think beyond print and further develop content for our online platform and digital channels.
• You contribute ideas for new topics, formats and digital storytelling approaches and enjoy implementing them.
• You maintain contact with important personalities and stakeholders from HR, business and the Future-of-Work scene and continuously expand your own network.
• You design and moderate our HR Today Podcast -- from finding topics to selecting exciting guests to the conversation at the microphone.
• You participate in our social media presence and know how to prepare journalistic content for different channels.
• You also represent HR Today externally: You moderate Member Events, panels and other events and enjoy standing on stage in front of small as well as large audiences.

Your profile

• A completed vocational training or a degree in the field of journalism, media or communication -- or a comparable journalistic education.
• Initial sound experience in print and online journalism and enjoyment of both worlds.
• A high digital affinity and the desire to try out and further develop new journalistic formats, platforms and tools.
• Interest in topics surrounding HR, work, leadership, companies and Future of Work. An existing network in the HR scene is a plus, but not a must.
• You are curious, proactive and communicative and enjoy approaching people.
• You enjoy conversation -- whether during an interview, in front of the podcast microphone or on stage.
• You work independently, structured and reliably and maintain an overview even with several parallel topics.
• You have organizational talent and the desire to take on responsibility.
• You move confidently in digital tools -- from CMS to Canva to Mailchimp -- and ideally have basic knowledge of Photoshop.
• You have stylistically confident German language skills; French language skills are a big plus.
