Part-time Communication Officer (40 to 60%).
Upon your arrival
Develop a communal graphic charter based on existing elements. Evaluate and evolve the municipality's website.
🎯 Communication strategy
Develop and implement the communication plan define key messages and appropriate distribution channels. Coordinate communication actions with the various communal services. Ensure media monitoring and follow public opinion.
🎯 External communication
Manage content for the website, social media, and physical communication channels (door-to-door). Contribute to the writing and publication of the communal newspaper (4 editions per year). Ensure media coverage of events develop and maintain relations with local and regional media. Support the authorities in sensitive or crisis communication situations.
🎯 Content and support creation
Design or coordinate the production of various communication supports (brochures, posters, flyers, door-to-door, newsletters, etc.). Write articles, press releases, speeches, and other institutional content.
🎯 Monitoring and evaluation
Measure the impact of the actions taken. Propose improvements and report on project progress.
🎯 Internal communication
Inform and sensitize communal employees. Organize information meetings and communication workshops.
Profile sought
✅ Training in communication, journalism, or equivalent experience.
✅ Proven experience in a similar position, ideally within a public administration or a citizen-oriented organization.
✅ Excellent writing skills and mastery of digital tools.
✅ Good graphic design skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalents).
✅ Knowledge of local communication issues and the Geneva context.
✅ Sense of organization, autonomy, diplomacy, discretion and adaptability.
