CARITAS Thurgau is the specialist center for poverty issues in the Canton of Thurgau and offers various support and counseling to people in challenging life situations.
For our Debt Counseling/Debt Restructuring specialist center, we are looking for

2 committed

specialists (50% and 60%)
starting

1. October 2026 or by arrangement

Your tasks
Conducting counseling interviews as well as clarification and implementation of debt restructuring
Cooperation with creditors, authorities, specialist centers and internal offers
Managing client administration/documentation with the help of E-Case
Readiness to participate in specialist conferences and events in connection with the activity
Readiness to conduct agreed counseling interviews in four other districts in the Canton of Thurgau
Conducting lectures at schools in cooperation with the bankruptcy office within the framework of the Thurgau debt module
We expect (Professional)
Degree in Social Work (FH/HF), or comparable qualification
Good knowledge of the social landscape in the Canton of Thurgau
Professional experience in a counseling context
Readiness for subject-specific further training
Experience in debt counseling and debt restructuring is a big plus
We expect (Personal)
High social competence with empathy for people in stressful life situations
Resilient, mature personality with very good communication skills and problem-solving skills
