The Gebert Rüf Stiftung is a private science and innovation foundation based in Basel. It promotes forward-looking projects at the intersection of science, entrepreneurship, and society. Through its funding programs and Kick-Initiatives, it supports young talents in implementing their own business ideas and building successful startups. For the further development of our foundation communication, we are looking for an initiative, team-oriented personality with a sense for relevant topics, strong stories, and impactful formats. Communication Lead In this versatile role, you are responsible for the external communication of the Gebert Rüf Stiftung (GRS), develop content for the website, newsletter, and social media, support media and event work, and manage our digital communication channels. In doing so, you are in regular exchange with funding partners, program managers, media, and other stakeholders. With creativity, curiosity, and strategic intuition, you also contribute to the further development of our positioning and visibility and support the communicative integration of the GRS into the Kick Foundation. In this way, you actively shape the perception of the foundation and contribute to making its impact visible both internally and externally. You have experience in communication, public relations, or a related field and enjoy conveying complex content in an understandable way. Furthermore, you know how to position topics and projects effectively and to specifically strengthen the visibility of programs, initiatives, and brands. As an independent, pragmatic, and initiative personality, you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, coordinate different tasks reliably, and actively develop the communication further. You are interested in science, innovation, and entrepreneurship and communicate with stylistic confidence in German and English; French language skills are an advantage.
