The cantonal hospital of Zug is at the service of the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Approximately 1'200 employees, including 180 in initial and continuing training, work in various fields. Every year, we treat and care for more than 11'500 hospitalized patients and more than 70'000 outpatient patients. More than 27'500 people are treated every year in the interdisciplinary emergency center.

For our pulmonology department, we are looking for a medical assistant in pulmonology 80 % immediately or by agreement.

Your tasks ##

• Performing pulmonary function tests, respiratory polygraphies (sleep diagnosis) and spiroergometry (in collaboration with the supervising physician)
• Management of patients suffering from sleep apnea
• Planning and organization of specialized pulmonology consultations
• Administrative work, including the recording of services and the maintenance of the electronic patient file
• Participation, if interested, in bronchoscopies (full diagnostic spectrum, including cryobiopsies) and other interventional procedures (pleural puncture, PleurX catheter placement, etc.)

Your profile ##

• Completed training as a medical assistant
• Experience in the organization of consultations and patient administration
• Autonomous, structured and efficient way of working
• Reliable, flexible and resilient personality with organizational talent
