Accounts Payable Clerk 60-100% (temporary)

This profile is responsible for supporting/leading accounts payable in accordance with the principles of proper accounting, the accounting regulations (Swiss GAAP FER / OR) as well as the requirements of the internal control system (ICS), in particular

• posting accounts payable invoices
• validating («ensuring formal invoice verification») and completing accounts payable invoices
• monitoring approval workflows in SAP and intervening if necessary
• checking account assignments
• processing accounts payable reminders
• supporting Swissgrid employees in all arising accounts payable process steps and providing corresponding information
• creating invoice pool list in the monthly closing
• performing all required ICS controls in the area of accounts payable
• maintaining process documentation, creating evaluations and statistics

Requirements:

• Commercial vocational training or equivalent education
• In-depth accounting knowledge according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER / IFRS as well as VAT knowledge required
• Further training in finance and accounting is an advantage (e.g., Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Accounting)
• SAP and Excel knowledge required, SAP VIM / S/4 HANA is an advantage (at least SAP VIM / R3)
• Flair for numbers and mathematics
• Solving problems systematically
• High cooperation and communication competence
• High integrity, sense of responsibility and goal orientation
• Team player, but at the same time accustomed to working independently and with own responsibility
• Flexible, learning from feedback, actively acquiring new knowledge
• Several years of experience in the area of accounts payable including SAP invoice workflow in a finance department, at least in an SME environment
• Very good MS Office skills (esp. Excel) are required
• SAP S/4 HANA
• German: Native language or at least language level C1
• French and/or English is an advantage
