To strengthen our purchasing team at our location in Boswil AG, we are looking for an engaged personality as Purchaser 80 % immediately or by arrangement In order for our production plants to deliver peak performance daily, a reliable material supply is needed. This is exactly where you come into play: With your organizational talent, your technical understanding and your sense for deadlines, you ensure that raw materials, operating resources and technical components are available at the right place at the right time. In this way, you make a decisive contribution to a smooth production process. What awaits you with us * You procure raw, auxiliary and operating materials as well as technical items for maintenance, investments and projects of swisspor D-CH at home and abroad. * You ensure that our production sites are supplied with the required materials at all times and avoid supply bottlenecks. * Together with the department heads, you plan and monitor stocks so that production can run smoothly. * You request offers, compare quotations and clarify prices and conditions. * You coordinate transports and customs formalities and always keep an eye on delivery dates and goods receipts. * You recognize possible schedule or delivery deviations early and initiate the necessary measures. * You check delivery documents, order confirmations and orders for their consistency. * You create evaluations and statistics and support the team with administrative tasks. What you bring with you * You have a basic commercial education with technical flair or a basic technical education with further commercial training. * Ideally, you have already gained purchasing experience in a manufacturing company. * You understand the connections between purchasing, warehouse and production and know how important a timely material supply is for an interference-free production process. * You work independently, in a structured manner and maintain an overview even in hectic situations. * You think ahead, set priorities and act in a solution-oriented manner. * You have very good MS Office skills. * Your German is stylistically confident in speaking and writing. * Good English skills are important for international purchasing.
