Job description:

For the temporary reinforcement of the product management team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager Cards. In this role, you are responsible for the further development and operation of products in the card business and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

Your tasks:

• Development of business cases, requirements and functional concepts or epic framework concepts
• Further development and support of existing products and services in the Card Business
• Coordination with internal and external stakeholders such as sales, Legal & Compliance, Business Engineering, project management, Marketing & Communication as well as external providers
• Accompanying the implementation of projects as an Epic Owner within Agile Release Trains according to SAFe
• Independent implementation of smaller requirements in day-to-day business
• Taking over further operational tasks in product management
• Simultaneous management and prioritization of different topics and initiatives

About the customer:

Our customer is an established Swiss financial institution based in Zürich. The eight-person product management team is responsible for products and services surrounding the card business and works closely with project management, Business Engineering and DevOps.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience at a senior level
• Several years of experience as a Senior Product Manager
• Current and sound know-how in the Card Business on the issuer side
• Very good knowledge in the area of debit cards and/or credit cards
• Experience in the creation of business cases, requirements and functional concepts
• Experience in collaborating with different business, IT, legal, compliance and external stakeholders
• Strong ability for multi-topic management as well as independent prioritization of parallel tasks
• Very good communication and coordination skills
• German at C2 level or approximately native language skills

Nice to have

• Experience as an Epic Owner
• Experience with SAFe / Agile Release Trains
• Good end-to-end view of products and processes in the banking or payment environment
• High affinity for technology and experience in collaborating with DevOps and Business Engineering teams
