Social Pedagogue or Specialist in Care in the Day Structure (approx. 80% - Mon-Fri) ##

The Stiftung Schloss Regensberg runs a special education home and a Type A day special school, with an integrated 15plus special school, a boarding school for students and apprentices, various forms of coaching and offers in vocational integration, as well as semi-supervised living forms in youth housing. We care for children, adolescents and young adults with difficulties in personal and/or social development as well as impairments in learning and performance.

Our day structure in the special school ###

In the day structure, we help shape everyday school life and are responsible for the extracurricular care of the students. Additionally, the team members are responsible for case management and coordination of the support planning for our day students. The working assignments are carried out from Monday to Friday between approx. 8-17 o'clock, with a higher target number of hours during the school weeks. During the school holidays, we compensate accordingly and spend them, except for a few days a year, on holiday.

Your area of responsibility ###

• As a team member of the day structure, you help to shape everyday school life as well as extracurricular care and to perform the work arising in this regard
• You are responsible for the case management of your reference adolescents, coordinating their stay and support planning
• You work in a networked manner and conduct status meetings
• You engage in work and project groups and contribute your part to the continuous improvement of our work and the institution
• You get involved and help shape our attitude and culture

• You are authentic, communicative, conflict-oriented and team player
• You do not like catalogs of rules and instead prefer to advocate for individual solutions
• You take unconventional paths, are curious, flexible and brave
• You face challenges humorously and work responsibly
• You contribute your ideas and are committed to their implementation

• You have a recognized degree in social pedagogy
• You already have experience in working with adolescents
• You value cooperation with referring and other agencies, school, parents etc.
• Ideally, you can drive a car (driver's license Cat. B)
