Job Offer: Montessori Assistant / Socio-Educational Assistant (replacement)

We are a small bilingual Montessori private school, family-oriented, established in Neuchâtel for over 25 years. We welcome children from 3 to 12 years old in a warm and caring environment that fully respects Montessori pedagogy. We are looking for a Montessori Assistant or Socio-Educational Assistant for an immediate replacement, available as soon as possible.

Job Details

• Main age group: 3-6 years (Children's House)
• Occupation rate: approximately 80 %
• Start date: as soon as possible
• Duration of mission: 2 weeks, potentially extendable depending on needs
• Languages: French or English

Main missions (after-school care)

• Supervision and meal service
• Support for creative and craft activities
• Participation in forest school
• Nap management
• If useful: Help with classroom management and support for the pedagogical team
• Possibility of additional missions with children aged 6-12, notably for reading support

Profile sought

• Experience in supporting children aged 3-6 (ideally in a Montessori or socio-educational context)
• Ability to work in a team within a collaborative and bilingual environment
• Sense of observation, kindness, and respect for the child's rhythm
• Immediate availability for a rate of approximately 80 %
• Proficiency in French and/or English
