The Company

KDT AG (Klebe- und Dosiertechnik AG) in Dietikon is the largest Loctite dealer in Switzerland and an A-partner of Henkel. We supply around 2'500 active end customers as well as 180 resellers with adhesives, sealants and dispensing technology. A small, well-coordinated team with short paths and fast decisions.

About the Role

Until today, we have had no dedicated purchasing department. Orders, conditions and supplier contacts are distributed among various employees. We want to change this and gradually build up purchasing as an independent position/department. An experienced person builds up the function within a manageable workload, brings in structure and shows what is possible.

Your Tasks

• Purchasing of adhesives, sealants and technical trading products
• Negotiation of prices, conditions and framework agreements with our suppliers
• Coordination of purchasing topics from daily business – interface between sales, warehouse and suppliers
• Processing the entire ordering process in SAP for defined suppliers: orders, order confirmations, delivery date tracking
• Overview of stocks, delivery deadlines and reorders
• Development of simple, sustainable processes and foundations for purchasing (supplier overview, conditions overview, ordering process)

Your Profile

• Confident SAP user knowledge in purchasing – you will work independently in the system from day one
• Several years of experience in technical purchasing or in the trade of chemical/adhesive or industrial products
• Negotiation strength and standing towards established suppliers
• Independent, structured way of working
• Routine in Excel; German proficient, English for supplier contact
