About the role

As a Materials Engineer, you will split your time between laboratory testing (50%) and internal and external technical support (50%). You will play a key role in evaluating surface resistance and supporting customers.

We offer you a temporary contract of 6 months at 100% with an opportunity for permanent employment (Try & Hire), within a dynamic team of 4 people dedicated to innovation.

Tasks
-------

This position combines laboratory activities focused on thin film resistance testing and a technical support and training role for customers and sales teams.

• Perform high-quality laboratory tests for potential customers and write analysis reports.
• Provide high-level technical support to sales and after-sales departments.
• Provide technical assistance to customers on the use of proprietary hardware and software.
• Train sales staff and customers in the use of cutting-edge measuring instruments.
• Participate in writing application notes presenting new testing methods.

We are looking for

• Engineering degree in materials science or equivalent training.
• Successful first professional experience in the field of engineering.
• Good knowledge of SAP software.

An asset if you possess

• Knowledge of mechanical testing and tribology.
• Proficiency in nanoindentation and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
