Uster, the third largest city in the Canton of Zürich, is a dynamically growing city in the Greater Zürich area with around 38,000 inhabitants and is known as an innovative regional center.

The Schulpsychologischer Dienst (SPD) Uster is a supra-regional service for five school communities. It accompanies and supports schools and families in their educational and integration mandate. In addition to school psychological assessments and special education assessments, this also includes the counseling and support of parents, children, and adolescents, as well as school management and school teaching and specialist personnel.

Your main tasks

• Personnel, professional, and administrative management of the service
• Professional guidance and support of employees, particularly through counseling,
• coaching and intervision
• Ensuring and further developing the professional quality of the School Psychological Service
• Promoting an appreciative, benevolent, and sustainable team cohesion
• Creating framework conditions in which employees can continue to work independently and on the basis of mutual trust
• Representation of the School Psychological Service towards schools, parents, and other stakeholders with joy and conviction

What you bring with you

• Master in Psychology (university or university of applied sciences)
• Several years of professional experience in school psychology
• Specialist title in child and adolescent psychology FSP or psychotherapy is an advantage
• Experience in leadership or corresponding further training. Applicants who are willing to complete leadership training are equally welcome
• Stable and self-reflective personality with high adaptability and flexibility
• Authenticity and the ability to combine clarity with appreciation
• Joy in leading a competent and independently working team
