Financial Accountant / Financial Accountant with closing certainty

For our client, we are looking for an experienced personality per sofort to temporarily support the existing finance team until the end of February 2027 and, in particular, to take over the ensuring of the 2026 annual financial statements.

The company is an internationally active Swiss industrial company with several locations worldwide.

The focus of the assignment is a reliable bridging in accounting. An experienced and closing-certain personality is therefore sought who can quickly familiarize themselves and take on operational responsibility.

Your tasks at the new employer

• Ensuring the ongoing financial accounting for group companies in Switzerland and abroad
• Responsibility and active collaboration in monthly and especially in the 2026 annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Collaboration in ongoing accounting processes such as payment transactions, value-added taxes, and fixed asset accounting
• Support in the compliance and documentation of the internal control system (IKS) as well as cooperation with external auditing bodies
• Support with further accounting and closing topics within the Güdel Group

You offer your new employer

• For this position, you bring several years of experience in finance and accounting
• You are familiar with the preparation of financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Experience in an internationally active company with a group structure is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Good knowledge of SAP (FI) and Excel is a plus, and knowledge of other SAP modules such as CO/PS or MM/SD is an additional advantage
• Due to the international environment, you require good German and English skills
