IT Rollout Technician 80 - 100%

Tasks:

• Collaboration as an IT Rollouter in the large-scale relocation project within the operating site.
• Hardware distribution in the new building: Structured and planning-compliant distribution of delivered ICT material (focus on approx. 3'500 monitors, keyboards, mice, docking stations as well as thin clients).
• Workplace preparation: Professional unpacking and preparation of docking stations and peripheral devices according to specifications.
• Logistics support: Active collaboration in goods receipt, physical material inspection, and comparison with delivery notes.
• Quality assurance & testing: Execution of standardized functional tests ("smoke tests") at the modernized workplace (testing of LAN/WLAN connection, monitor display, and peripheral function).
• Progress control: Seamless completion and updating of the provided checklists per workplace to secure the project status.
• Firmware updates: Installation of current firmware updates on the docking stations using a prepared project notebook.
• Interface function & data maintenance: Close cooperation and transparent communication with the internal ICT team as well as the suppliers on site; recording/updating of devices in the CMDB (e.g., ServiceNow).

Requirements:

• Solid basic IT knowledge (hardware components, connections, cabling).
• Familiarity with modern ICT workplaces, network basics (LAN/WLAN) and peripheral devices or a comparable system.
• Exceptionally exact, conscientious and structured way of working – even with high quantities and repetitive tasks.
• Transparent, open and team-oriented communication as well as a friendly appearance towards the ICT team and external partners.
• Very good German skills
