Your area of responsibility

As a school social worker, you work according to the methods and principles of social work and in close cooperation with parents, teachers and caregivers, as well as school management.

Your tasks include, in particular:

• Counseling and support of children with personal and social issues
• Cooperation with parents, teachers, caregivers and school management
• Counseling of groups and classes
• Early detection and prevention
• Networking and cooperation with specialist agencies and other institutions
• Participation in projects and offers of the school social work

You are an initiative person who

• holds a diploma in social work and ideally has experience in school social work or in the field of child and youth welfare.
• enjoys working with children and adolescents as well as cooperating with their caregivers.
• is strong in communication, resilient and flexible.
• is used to an independent, solution-oriented and interdisciplinary way of working.
• acts professionally and calmly even in challenging situations.
