Establishment employing approximately 450 employees to ensure the specialized schooling of 27 children and adolescents as well as the socio-educational and socio-professional support of 127 adults presenting an intellectual deficiency is looking for

Your mission :

As part of this position, you are dedicated to the individual support of a student within their class and the school every day during school hours, in close collaboration with the teacher and the educational team.

Your role consists notably of :

• Ensuring individualized support for the student during the different moments of their school day, by providing reinforcement to the supervision.
• Designing, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, projects that are meaningful, motivating for the child and that promote their autonomy.
• Supporting the student in their learning, in collaboration with the teacher and in respect of the pedagogical objectives defined for them.
• Promoting the student's participation in the life of the class and the school, as well as interactions with their peers.
• Implementing and using strategies as well as tools adapted to their needs, notably in situations that can generate challenging behaviors.
• Contributing to creating a secure, structuring and favorable framework for learning, taking into account the functioning and particularities of the student.
• Accompanying the student in the development of their social, relational, communicational and autonomy skills.
• Participating in the preparation and adaptation of activities related to school learning, in collaboration with the teacher.
• Observing the needs and evolutions of the student, transmitting relevant information to the team and contributing to the reflection around their support.
• Maintaining a quality collaboration with parents, respecting the institutional framework and the roles of each.
• Participating fully in the life of the school and collaborating with those involved in the support of the student.

We wish for :

• HES, ES training or deemed equivalent (validated SEFRI recognition)
• Knowledge and experience with children and/or presenting an intellectual deficiency and a real interest in autism
• Skills in ASD support (TEACCH, ABA, Montessori), would be an asset
• Dynamism, flexibility, creativity and good capacity for adaptation within a human-sized structure and team
• Ability to work in a team
• Resistance to stress and great organizational capacity
• Professional activity distributed over the 5 days of the week
• School hours with lunch breaks with the children
• Good use of standard IT tools
• Perfect mastery of spoken and written French
• Driver's license
• Clean criminal record
