Responsible for Financial Accounting / Senior Accountant |

60 % | Hochdorf LUIn this role, you will ensure the correct bookkeeping of talsee AG and talsee Holding AG and play a key role in the preparation of our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Your tasks

• Independent and reliable management of the financial accounting
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER – including account reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations
• Active participation in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements as well as the preparation of the financial statements for the executive board and the board of directors
• Responsibility for the ICS process in accounting, including ensuring the implementation and documentation of the defined controls
• Timely preparation of VAT returns (Switzerland and Germany) as well as management of the fixed asset accounting
• Monitoring of liquidity, control of accounts payable payments, and technical coordination of accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• Active support of the statutory audit as the primary contact person for the auditing body
• Support of the Head of Finance & Services in projects and the further development of finance and ERP processes
• Participation in the annual budgeting process

What you bring with you

• Commercial basic training with further training in finance and accounting, ideally with a federal diploma or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and in the independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Sound knowledge of Swiss VAT as well as knowledge of German VAT
• Proficient handling of ERP and financial systems as well as advanced MS Excel skills
• Independent, structured, and exact way of working with high personal responsibility and analytical thinking skills
• Team-oriented personality with good communication skills
