The Amt für Jugend und Berufsberatung (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. The kjz (Kinder- und Jugendhilfezentrum) is a polyvalent counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children, and toddlers and operates on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zürich.

Social Worker FH 60%
(permanent)

In the Abteilung Soziale Arbeit und Mandate, you will advise and accompany children, adolescents, mothers, and fathers within the framework of child protection measures and on a voluntary basis. Additionally, you will carry out assessments in cases of child endangerment on behalf of the KESB. In fulfilling your tasks, you will work closely with authorities, schools, other institutions, and specialist centers.

For this demanding task, we are looking for a committed and resilient personality with:

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work
• Experience in youth and family welfare as well as in mandate management
• High social competence, solution orientation, and assertiveness
• Systemic thinking skills and enjoyment of administrative activities
