Portrait of the school/institution ###

Gymnasium Biel-Seeland with Fach- and Wirtschaftsmittelschule is a traditional cantonal institution where approx. 1300 students are taught by around 170 teachers. The spacious and open school premises are located by the beautiful Bielersee, conveniently accessible near the station. The uniqueness of the bilingual city of Biel is also reflected in the school: Together with the Gymnase de Bienne et du Jura bernois, it offers bilingual courses of study; the cafeteria, library, and many other school rooms are used jointly, which promotes lived bilingualism. Students, teachers, administration, and school management together create a cosmopolitan and stimulating learning atmosphere. The success of our graduates is our driving force.
