YOUR TASKS

• You code inpatient cases in various medical specialties
• Together with our team, you further develop our coding processes
• You check and process complaints from payers with your professional acuity
• In exchange with treating physicians, you ensure complete, exact, and traceable documentation
• You ensure that our data is complete, correct, and valid at all times
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge -- whether when training new colleagues or during internal training sessions

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed basic medical or nursing training (HF/FH) with clinical experience in a hospital -- a postgraduate qualification in emergency, anesthesia, or intensive care medicine is an advantage
• Further training in medical coding, ideally with a federal certificate of proficiency (eidg. Fähigkeitsausweis)
• Experience in coding in the acute care sector and profound knowledge of the Swiss DRG system
• Good knowledge of the Swiss health insurance system
• Structured, independent, and analytical way of working with high self-motivation
• Experience in dealing with clinical information systems and coding software
• Confident communication in German, French language skills are a plus
