Would you like to work in a pharma SME where you can manage your finance area independently and work directly with the management? For our client, we are looking for an experienced personality who enjoys managing a versatile finance area independently while also contributing their own ideas. You will work in a small team with short decision-making paths and take on a central function with a long-term perspective.

Tasks ###

• Independent management of the financial accounting and preparation of annual financial statements according to OR
• Responsibility for accounts receivable including dunning management as well as accounts payable and payment transactions
• Preparation and accompaniment of the audit as well as contact person for the auditing body
• Planning and management of liquidity
• Execution of currency transactions (spot and forwards)
• Coordination of tax matters and cooperation with external partners and authorities
• Processing of value-added tax, transfer pricing, as well as state and municipal taxes
• Preparation and accompaniment of tax audits
• Management of personnel administration including joiners and leavers, employment contracts, holidays, absences, and time tracking
• Responsibility for the payroll accounting as well as social security settlements
• Creation of wage statements and processing of expenses

Requirements ###

• Commercial basic training with further training in finance and accounting or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in a comparable function, ideally as a sole accountant in an SME
• Confident in closing and familiar with Swiss VAT and tax topics
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Discretion and careful handling of confidential information
• Interest in long-term cooperation

Here you are responsible for the finance area alone and are in direct exchange with the management. The entry will be accompanied by the current job holder, who will still support the 2026 annual financial statement and enable a structured handover.
