Specialist Housekeeping/Care Assistant (1 year fixed-term), 80 %

For the Stationäre Wohnintegration, we are looking for (1 year fixed-term) as of 01.01.2027 or by arrangement for a committed and motivated personality.

Stationäre Wohnintegration, an offering of the Sozialdepartement der Stadt Zürich, is a supervised living offering for socially and health-impaired persons who are unable to fit into a regular home and live abstinently.

Tasks ##

• You make a significant contribution to the quality of life for our addiction- and mentally impaired clients through your cooperation in the areas of cleaning, laundry supply, and catering.
• Together with the clients, you are responsible for order in the rooms and personal laundry - whereby you guide, accompany and, where necessary, take over tasks.
• You regenerate and prepare the daily meals and ensure kitchen hygiene.
• You perceive the well-being of the residents and coordinate with the care staff.
• If required and capacity permits, you accompany the clients during shopping, other appointments or during leisure activities.

Profile ##

• Completed training in hotel housekeeping (EFZ) or comparable training or interest in the specialist area
• Experienced specialists and persons returning to professional life
• Joy in contact with addiction- and mentally impaired clients, passion for the profession, high quality standards and service orientation
• Ability to work in a team, care and reliability as well as good German language skills
• Readiness for working hours from 08.00 to 16:45 or 11.00 to 20.00 as well as for weekend services
