Janitor – Allrounder (50-60 %)

We are looking for a technically strong, hands-on and flexible
Janitor – Allrounder (50-60 %)
limited to 6 months, with the option for permanent employment

Your area of responsibility
You lend a hand wherever it is needed with your manual skills and your flexibility: whether at the building, at exhibitions or in the art depot.
Your tasks are distributed across the following areas (figures in % of the workload):

Building (40–50 %):

• You keep the building and technology in good condition: security, heating, ventilation, electricity, cleaning
• You maintain the surroundings and green areas and keep machines, furniture and vehicles (Skoda, delivery van) ready for use.

Exhibition (40–50 %)

• You help with the structural implementation of the scenography, transport exhibits and objects and ensure smooth setup and dismantling.

Collection (5–10 %)

• You manage and control our art depot.

On-call service (5–10 %)

• You take on on-call duties (residence near Pfäffikon/SZ is an advantage)

With your work in a small team, you contribute significantly to the success of the exhibitions, are involved in all processes as the right hand of the technician and bring the willingness to be deployed sporadically on Sundays or evenings as well.

What you bring with you

• You have a completed manual vocational apprenticeship (ideally as a carpenter, also preferably as an electrical fitter or mechanic) as well as several years of professional experience.
• You are willing to flexibly familiarize yourself with new specialist areas and to actively lend a hand even outside of your core area.
• You work carefully and independently, have manual skills and good organizational talent.
• You have good computer skills and a category B driver's license.
• You enjoy working in a team, are flexibly available in terms of time and enjoy culture.
