Your area of responsibility

• During customer acquisition and onboarding, you are the first point of contact for Relationship Managers regarding questions on due diligence and promote clear, constructive cooperation with Compliance.
• As part of the first line of defense, you identify and assess money laundering, reputation, and other business risks and create written risk assessments for customers.
• You propose pragmatic, risk-appropriate controls and measures for risk mitigation. In doing so, you support efficient and sustainable customer acquisition and corresponding onboarding within the applicable regulatory framework.
• You proactively advise the Front Office and act as a sparring partner to them. In doing so, you question positions constructively, contribute your perspective to internal stakeholders, and contribute to the sustainable and scalable growth of the bank.

Your profile

• Experience as a Business Risk Manager or in a comparable function in the first line of defense, in audit and/or as a Compliance Officer at a Swiss bank.
• University degree, for example a Master in Law or Economics, and/or relevant certifications, such as in the field of Due Diligence (Compliance) or sanctions. You know international markets and the regulatory environment and have experience with background checks.
• Solution-oriented mindset and the ability to weigh risks and business aspects, to represent the business perspective in risk discussions, and to translate regulatory requirements in line with the bank's risk appetite into clear, practical recommendations for the Front Office.
• Reliable, responsible, and risk-sensitive personality with analytical thinking skills, strong communication skills, and a careful, structured way of working. You work well in a team even under pressure and are flexible.
• Fluent German and English skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
