On behalf of the municipalities, the kantonal Sozialamt fulfills the task of personal social and addiction assistance and supports people in accessing economic social assistance. To this end, it operates eight regional social services in the regions of the canton. The regionaler Sozialdienst Prättigau/Herrschaft/Fünf Dörfer is responsible for 18 municipalities with a catchment area of 43 000 people. The position is fixed-term until 30. June 2027.
